How to crochet the Basketweave Stitch

Pin of Basketweave crochet stitch by Handmade by Stacy J
Here's a pin for you :)

The Basketweave stitch is one of the first stitches that I ever learned how to do.

It's a combination of front and back post double crochet that creates a wonderful weave and a reversible fabric. Because it uses the double crochet stitches, it works up very quickly, too!

It's very beginner friendly and would be wonderful for a blanket, scarf or a hat!
