Catching up & Thursday Knitting Tutorial - Learn to knit the Diagonal Garter Rib
Updated: Jan 14, 2021

Last week I took Wednesday through this Tuesday off to enjoy the holiday week with my family. Little did I know, hubby planned a little staycation for us at a local resort. It was so lovely - we had the whole place to ourselves. We hiked, ordered room service (a first for both of us!) since the restaurant was closed and we just enjoyed taking a break from the regular household chores. We were only gone for 2 nights, but it felt like an entire vacation. Usually we plan a little staycation 2-3 times a year. But, with COVID, this was our first time out this year. I hope you had a lovely break!

On to today! Today's knitting tutorial is for the Diagonal Garter Rib Stitch. It's a very simple, beginner friendly stitch that is worked over 5 stitches and 10 rows using only knits and purls. Below is the written directions with a chart, the video tutorial, and you can use the image to pin to your Pinterest to save for later.
